2020 was supposed to be the best wedding season ever. We were so looking forward to it and we had so many incredible weddings lined up – in our favorite Santorini, Greece, Spain, Austria and so many couples from all over the world in Slovenia.
Oh, Greece, how we love you! The deepest blue of the ocean, endless fields of olive groves, the mountains. Life really flows slower here and we just love how instantly relaxed we are once we get there. We’ve visited many islands before (Santorini is our favorite) but other than Athens, we haven’t explored the mainland yet.
Tilen and Yuka decided to get married in Slovenia. A beautiful elegant wedding at the Brdo Estate.
Tri lučke is one of the most desired locations in Slovenia at the moment and it’s not hard to figure out why. Stunning hills with vineyards and amazing views overlooking the Krško valley are the perfect setting for saying “I do”. Not only the beautiful surroundings, Tri lučke is also known for an outstanding culinary experience and a gorgeous glass wedding hall.
Nina and Metod chose a really special location for their dreamy elegant and rustic wedding - Jelenov greben, a deer farm. Photographing among deer is surreal and like in a fairytale..
We feel like we've been going through last season's galleries for ages and they really made us relieve all the emotions and moments we got to be part of and capture in our photographs.
We met Besarta and Jure in 2017 when we photographed the wedding of their friends. After seeing the photos and how we work, they knew they wanted us to be their photographers.
The region of Goriška Brda is one of our favourite parts of Slovenia, since it reminds us so much of our beloved Tuscany in Italy.
A few minutes away from the busy beaches of Tarragona lies the Castell de Tamarit – Tamarit Castle with an idyllic setting on a cliff overlooking an endless white beach. The first mentions of the Tamarit Castle date back to the 11th Century. Through history, the castle was the residence of the Archbishop of Tarragona and the Marquises of Tamarit. In the 20th Century, it was bought and restored by an American collector and turned into a luxury private venue.
The speeches were amazing and so emotional, there wasn’t a dry eye among the guests. And the first dance was a surprise - Melisa and Matej did such a great job!
This was one of the biggest weddings we ever shot - 160 guest from all over - and one of the most emotional ones. It was a day full of fun and tears of joy.
Slovenia is a gorgeous country and we're so glad it’s being more and more recognised by the world for its beauty. Destination weddings in Slovenia are gaining on popularity and of course the most desirable location is Lake Bled.
Who says that rainy weddings aren’t beautiful? We love them, since the mood is even more romantic.
Our first themed wedding happened to be in the gorgeous alpine French town of Evian.
As you all by now sure know, autumn is our favourite season. We just love the amazing hues of red, orange, brown and yellow that transform the nature around us.
We met Heidi and David two years ago while they were traveling through Slovenia and stopped at Lake Bled for a couple’s session. We never thought their love will take us across the globe all the way to Hong Kong.
2018 – What a year! After our “Best of couples 2018” (click if you haven’t checked it out yet) here comes our “Best of weddings 2018”!
We met Donna and John almost two years ago in Bled. We remember that the lake was frozen and people were ice skating on it.
Emily and Zach got married in March in North Carolina and chose to experience Croatia and Slovenia for their honeymoon.
