What are weddings really about? To us, weddings are about having fun, marrying your best friend and sharing that moment with your loved ones. It's about the connections between people and the celebration of pure love.
We met Besarta and Jure in 2017 when we photographed the wedding of their friends. After seeing the photos and how we work, they knew they wanted us to be their photographers.
They wanted their wedding to be really relaxed and stress free, with nature as the setting for the day. The afternoon fun getting-ready full of laughter was followed by an emotional ceremony outside.
It was the middle of the summer with the first heatwave coming up. In the evening we took some time and did their portraits. Can we just say how awesome it is when our couples completely trust our vision and are down for whatever we imagine? There had been storms in the previous weeks and the golden wheat fields had been damaged. Although unfortunate for the farmers, we found the specks of flat wheat in the fields an amazing setting for a drone shot. Without any hesitation, Besarta and Jure laid down and let us do our thing.
If we could choose one word to describe Besarta and Jure it would be kind. You can feel their kindness instantly when spending time with them and it is no wonder they chose the professions they do – they're both doctors. Grateful we get to meet such amazing human beings.
