Goriska Brda wedding photographer
The region of Goriška Brda is one of our favourite parts of Slovenia, since it reminds us so much of our beloved Tuscany in Italy. We adore the views over the hills with endless vineyard and tiny old villages. It feels like the time stands still here.
We've never been lucky with the weather and always had major downpours with previous weddings we had at Goriška Brda, but this time we had luck. It was even the hottest day of the summer.
Lara and Slobodan both live and work in Luxemburg. They opted for an intimate wedding at Gredič Castle, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
The terrace of the Gredič Castle offers amazing views over Goriška Brda and is the perfect place for the ceremony. Lara and Slobodan said their vows under a flower arch and with the best background – vineyards and hills. We always love how intimate weddings are so much more emotional and personal. Their loved ones couldn’t wait to give them a tight hug and congratulate them.
The village Šmartno is just a short drive away from the Gredič Castle. Lara and Slobodan took a walk through the old stones streets and we photographed their amazing chemistry. The streets were bathing in golden sunset light and we slowly moved on to the vineyards.
Since it was the hottest day of the summer, our wedding party decided to end the night with a bang. We never thought we’d see one of our brides jump into a pool in a wedding dress, but Lara did and we loved it! One after one we all joined in for a swim.
