2019 was the year of international weddings. More than a third of our couples was from abroad and we got to see and experience many different cultures.
Japan meets Dubai meets Slovenia
Yuka and Tilen come from completely different parts of the world and they’re the proof that love knows no boundaries. They both work for Emirates in Dubai and frequently fly all over the globe. Yuka is Japanese and Tilen Slovene, so they decided to have their dream wedding here.
Romantic Strmol Castle for fun getting-ready
Our day started at the beautiful Strmol Castle, where the bride and the groom got ready. We started the wedding in the afternoon and moved to Brdo Castle, a stunning estate near Kranj. The ceremony was held on the Duck Island under a tent that kept us dry from the raindrops that started during the vows.
A real-life fairytale wedding
The rain stopped just in time for our outdoor photoshoot at the park. We explored the estate together and had so much fun. Having the same sense of humor is awesome and it instantly lightens the mood and strengthens the connection. Even mother nature chipped in and graced us with some sunset rays at the end.
We continued with the reception at the modern Congress Centre Brdo.
